{Article} Apple Cider Vinegar Helps Insulin Resistance [...]

In my opinion, apple cider vinegar is a must have household item. The list of things it can do is endless!

If you want to find out what ACV can do for women with PCOS, please read this article at PCOS Info.

If you are wanting to start including ACV in your regime but are worried about the flavor/taste, try looking into ACV supplements on Amazon!

  1. How much are you supposed to drink each day?

    1. I've seen many sites say one teaspoon a day, but I've also seen 1 teaspoon before each meal.

Currently, I'm trying to find a definite answer and will share as soon as I can. =D

    3. Oh, thanks for sharing!
I'd recommend starting off with one teaspoon a day to get use to it.

  2. Hello,
I came across your blog on Pinterest. I am really glad I found some place where I don't feel so alone with this. I was diagnosed about five years ago with PCOS, at the prime of childbearing age. I am 33 now. My story is a little different. I was a mom at the young age of 14. I spent all of teen years cursing cause I was stuck at home taking care of my son while my friends were all out having fun. My son is now 18, and I wish I had appreciated the time more when he was young. I kick myself everyday because now all I want is to have a child and the odds are against me.

  3. Hi Kristen, is it alright to take this supplement together with the one I'm currently taking which is a zinc supplement I got from this Dr. Mercola? I've been wondering if there will be a conflict on those two or not?

    1. Unfortunately, I do not have a solid answer for you... =(
It honestly depends on your body and doctor recommendations.
I honestly don't take ACV on a daily basis. Only when I know my blood sugar level is high.

  4. Hi :) can I take ACV even though I'm taking Metformin? The Met I'm taking for PCOS as well. I was diagnosed in August 2011 and have been trying everything to fall pregnant, but nothing seems to be working!!

    1. I've seen stories of many Cysters who do take ACV and Metformin on a daily basis. I have not found anything that would be against taking both and I have not seen any horror stories (not sure what I should have called them ^_^) about it either.

My best recommendation is to consult your doctor/physician. Exercise EXTREME caution if you do take both. If your BSL gets to low, you can go into shock. So check your levels regularly and eat properly to keep your BSL normal.

I pray that God blesses you with a bundle of joy soon!!! <3
